Wheat...West coast cash wheat markets trended higher in early-week
trade, following the uptick across the futures complex. Hard red spring
and hard red winter were bid nearly 20 cents higher than a week ago and
even white wheat acknowledged gains with a nickel bump in price. Good
moisture continues to move through the Pacific Northwest wheat regions.

movement last week, registering nearly 20 million bushels. This puts the
year-to-date total at 670 million bushels, which is 16% ahead of a year
ago. White wheat was the top mover with 7.4 million bushels, followed by
hard red winter with 5.9 million and less than a million bushels for hard
red spring wheat. West coast exporters shipped 10 million bushels of wheat
that went primarily to The Philippines, Bangladesh and South Korea. Corn
